FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CULTURE BY MEANS OF ETHNOPEDAGOGY
Abstract
The article addresses the issue of forming the professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers by means of ethnopedagogy as an important component of modern pedagogical education. The relevance of the study is determined by the social demand for a new-generation teacher who possesses not only a high level of professional knowledge and methodological mastery, but also a well-developed spiritual and moral culture, national consciousness, and the ability to engage in humanistic interaction with participants in the educational process. Professional and pedagogical culture is interpreted as a multidimensional integrative formation that encompasses professional competencies, pedagogical thinking, communication culture, a system of values, ethical norms of behavior, as well as the capacity for reflection and continuous self-development. The study substantiates the significant educational and didactic potential of ethnopedagogy in the process of professional training of future teachers. It is demonstrated that appealing to folk pedagogical heritage–traditions, customs, rituals, folklore, folk morality, and family upbringing–contributes to the formation of national identity, pedagogical ethics, tolerance, respect for the cultural heritage of the people, and awareness of the social significance of the teaching profession. The main directions for implementing the ethnopedagogical approach in the educational process of higher education institutions are identified, including the integration of ethnocultural content into academic disciplines, the organization of educational and extracurricular activities, teaching practice, and the involvement of students in research activities. It is concluded that the systematic and purposeful use of ethnopedagogical means ensures an increase in the level of professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers, promotes their personal and professional development, and forms readiness for effective educational and upbringing activities based on national and universal human values.
