Effect of heat and electron beam treatment on properties of deposited layer of high-speed molybdenum steel
Abstract
The structural-phase states and properties of the weld overlay of high-speed molybdenum steel on mediumcarbon 30KhGSA steel after tempering and electron beam treatment are studied. The structure of the weld metal in the initial state and after high-temperature tempering is represented by grains of eutectic and solid solution based on iron. Electron beam treatment led to a radical change in the morphology of the surface layer, mechanical, and tribological properties.
