Study of formation of structure and properties during heat treatment of aluminum-iron-nickel bronzes for aviation products
Abstract
The effect of heat treatment modes on the microstructure, hardness, and conductivity of CuAl10Ni5Fe4 and CuAl11Ni5Fe5 aluminum-iron-nickel bronzes is studied. The necessity of a differentiated approach to the choice of bronze grade and temperature parameters of quenching and ageing for aviation products is shown, based on the required hardness range to be provided. Recommendations are given on determining the grade of bronze and rational heat treatment modes for groups of parts with hardness (according to the requirements of regulatory documents) from the ranges 170...220, 230...280 and 320...350 HB.
