Abstract

A study of the surface material of GTE compressor blades made of VT8-1 alloy after vibroabrasive treatment wascarried out. The results of a study of roughness, microstructure and hardness along the depth of the surface are presented.Studies of residual surface stresses using the Davidenkov-Birger method and the "sin2ψ" X-ray method were carried out.A relationship is proposed between the values of residual stresses determined by the X-ray method and the stresses obtainedusing the Davidenkov-Birger method, which allows for non-destructive testing of the blade material.
