Tribological properties of modified hardened surfaces of machine parts
Abstract
The results of a study of the intensity of wear on the surfaces of parts with reinforced layers modified with copper and iodine are presented. Comparative studies of the anti-wear properties of modified hardened layers of parts containing copper, zinc, cadmium and nickel have been carried out. Their load-bearing and maximum load-bearing capacities have been identified. It is shown that the greatest efficiency in reducing the intensity of wear and improving other tribological properties during contact interaction of the surfaces of tribosystem parts is achieved by creating modified reinforced layers containing iodine on them.
