IMPROVING THE MECHANISM OF STATE SUPPORT FOR INNOVATION ACTIVITY IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

Therefore, this article analyzes data indicating the need to strengthen government support mechanisms, such as targeted financing and encouraging innovation. In addition, the dynamics of innovation activity in the Russian agro-industrial complex for the period from 2020 to 2024 is being studied. In particular, the analysis analyzes the share of innovative enterprises, the volume of innovative goods, works and services produced, as well as the internal costs of research in agriculture and related industries. It should be noted that the study highlights the strategic importance of innovation to enhance competitiveness, productivity, and promote sustainable agricultural growth. As a result, a mechanism for state support of innovations has been proposed, which, as can be seen, implies a step-by-step approach to solving problems, starting from identifying needs and, ultimately, ending with scaling ready-made solutions. Thus, the work demonstrates the importance of an integrated approach to stimulating innovation activity in the agro-industrial complex.
