An assessment of the main economic indicators of the production of sunflower seeds in Russia is carried out, as well as a detailed analysis of the volume and structure of imports of these products from non-CIS countries and the EAEU states. Based on a comparison of data for the Krasnodar Territory and the Russian Federation as a whole, negative trends hindering the development of the industry have been identified.
