CLASSIFICATION OF NATURAL WORKER SPECIALIZATIONS BASED ON A BIMODAL ACTIVITY MODEL
Abstract
The article presents a bimodal classification of natural specializations based on the priority of alternative paired regulatory circuits of the nervous system. A distinction is introduced between dominant specialization and artificial specialization, which represents an adaptive–compensatory regulatory mode. The mechanisms underlying the formation of artificial specializations, their energetic cost, and diagnostic criteria for distinguishing them are examined.
