TRADE AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN RUSSIA AND MERCOSUR COUNTRIES UNDER SANCTIONS
Abstract
Under sanctions, the Russian Federation is greatly interested in developing trade and economic cooperation with “friendly” countries, including Mercosur member countries. To characterize the current state and determine the potential for trade and economic cooperation, the current contours of Russia-Mercosur interaction were examined, the dynamics and structure of trade turnover between the two countries were analyzed, and export competitiveness indices and trade complementarity indices were calculated.
