THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN THE STRUCTURE OF RUSSIA–CHINA BILATERAL TRADE
Abstract
The article examines the role of the agro-industrial complex in trade between Russia and China and explains why this sector is becoming increasingly important for both countries. It shows how the volume and structure of supplies are changing, which product groups are growing fastest in bilateral trade, and what factors influence these shifts. Special attention is given to elements that support or, on the contrary, hinder the development of cooperation, including logistics, quality requirements, and the specifics of demand in China. The article also highlights promising areas where trade may continue to expand – primarily in grain, oilseed products, and feed.
