Abstract

This article examines the impact of migration processes and migration policy on the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the labor market in the Republic of Crimea. The dynamics of the region’s key labor market indicators for 2020-2025 are assessed. The study identifies persistent structural imbalances between employer demand and labor supply in the regional labor market. The evolution of migration policy in the region is analyzed. The current labor needs of the regional economy are also identified. The study demonstrates the influence of socioeconomic factors on the formation and further development of the regional labor market. The authors found that labor supply in the regional market does not qualitatively correspond to labor demand, and structural problems are increasingly exacerbated due to pronounced territorial and socio-demographic asymmetries. Based on the research and identified problems in the labor market in the Republic of Crimea, the authors propose recommendations for overcoming labor shortages and balanced regulation of the labor market in the region.
