Abstract

The foreign economic potential of the region is an integral part of the analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of foreign economic activity and characterizes the level of development of natural resource, production, labor, scientific, technical and export potential. The Penza region has significant resources that allow the production of competitive products that are quite in demand in foreign markets. The article presents the characteristics of the foreign economic potential of the Penza region through the main indicators of the implementation of foreign economic activity. The main problems were identified and recommendations for their eli mination were developed.
