SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTING IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY: GLOBAL TRENDS AND NATIONAL PRIORITIES
Abstract
The intensification of traditional agriculture and rising prices in global markets for basic food products have exacerbated problems related to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In this regard, the need to study the specifics of implementing the concept of socially responsible investment in the food industry as a basic tool for improving management efficiency in meso-level systems within the framework of ensuring the sustainable development of the Russian economy becomes particularly relevant. The article presents a conceptual framework for the organization of investment policy in the food industry based on the principles of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, as a necessary condition for creating unified management capabilities for the industry complex, which will contribute to solving the problem of food security, as well as maximizing the use of natural, social and human capital.
