METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE RESEARCH OF INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN THE AGRO-FOOD COMPLEX

The article reveals the content of institutional transformations of the agri-food complex as a subject area of research, describes a set of economic research methods recommended for studying this subject area, substantiates a range of issues defining the theoretical and methodological basis for studying the processes of formation and development of economic interactions in the agri-food complex and their institutional support, the essential differences between the concepts of “agro-industrial complex” and “agro-food complex”, The article reveals the features of the agri-food complex as a space of intersubject interactions, the principles of forming an institutional support system, formulates the provisions defining the methodology for studying the institutional environment of the agri-food complex, identifies institutional problems limiting the development of the agri-food complex, substantiates the priority areas for improving the system of institutional support for the development of the agri-food complex and intersubjective interactions.
