DEVELOPMENT OF AN INDICATOR SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND FORECASTING THE EFFECTS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AT THE MACROECONOMIC LEVEL

The adoption and deep integration of artificial intelligence technologies are compelling the global economy to create new opportunities for growth in productivity and resource efficiency, while also preparing for highly probable systemic risks. The aim of this research is to develop a comprehensive system of indicators that will enable the monitoring and forecasting of the impact of artificial intelligence technology adoption on the national economies of various countries. Based on an analysis of existing approaches by various international organizations, national AI strategies of different countries, as well as an examination of existing programming languages, the authors propose a system of indicators that allows for the analysis and forecasting of the impact of artificial intelligence technology adoption on changes in the gross domestic product of BRICS countries and several others.
