Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence in the context of digitalization and the increasing complexity of information processes has necessitated a rethink of its theoretical foundations and evolution as a scientific field that has gone from solving formalized computational problems to attempts to model human thinking. The analysis of this transformation makes it possible to identify key trends in the development of intelligent technologies and identify their philosophical and methodological limitations. The article analyzes the evolution of artificial intelligence as a scientific and technological field that has gone from formal algorithmic computing to attempts to model human thinking. The key stages of the development of artificial intelligence, including computational, symbolic and learning approaches, as well as current trends focused on cognitive and neural network modeling, are considered.
