ECONOMIC AND MANAGERIAL EFFECTS OF IMPLEMENTING DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Abstract
The adoption of digital educational technologies in the operations of educational organizations affects not only teaching and learning, but also the economics and management of education, including cost structures, the speed and quality of managerial decision-making, process transparency, and resource allocation. The purpose of this article is to identify the key economic and managerial effects of digitalization and the conditions under which these effects lead to sustainable outcomes. Drawing on an analysis of recent research and reports by international organizations, the study systematizes the expected benefits (process optimization, reduction of transaction costs, strengthened monitoring and quality control, and enhanced manageability), as well as the associated risks (growth of hidden costs, digital overload, and skills shortages). Measurable indicators and practical recommendations are proposed to support the planning and evaluation of digital solution implementation in educational organizations.
