Abstract

The article explores the role of technological sovereignty as a key element of the Russian Federation’s economic security in the context of unprecedented sanctions restrictions and the transformation of global value chains. Based on an analysis of theoretical approaches and macroeconomic data for 2020– 2025, the article identifies structural contradictions and growth points in the Russian economy. It demonstrates that achieving technological sovereignty is not an end in itself but a necessary condition for sustainable development and preservation of national economic potential. In conclusion, it is concluded that only a comprehensive approach that combines state strategic planning, private initiative, and integration into new centers of technological growth can make technological sovereignty a real foundation for Russia’s long-term economic security.
