The author emphasizes that risk-based thinking serves as a link between strategic goals, process logic, and economic results, forming a holistic model of sustainability management. The article demonstrates how the institutional evolution of risk-based thinking impacts the managerial and economic performance of a quality management system, fostering a high degree of alignment between strategic planning and operational activities. It is concluded that the implementation of the proposed approaches contributes to the formation of a management culture of responsibility and analytical awareness, which increases the sustainability of the organization’s activities in conditions of uncertainty.
