Abstract

The article examines the current state of inflation in Russia, analyzes the key factors shaping price pressures in 2020–2025, and identifies the specific features of inflation dynamics under external economic restrictions. The study presents data on the interaction between monetary and structural factors influencing the growth rate of consumer prices and evaluates the role of the Bank of Russia’s monetary policy in stabilizing the macroeconomic environment. Particular attention is given to the impact of production costs, logistical changes, and import dependence on the formation of inflationary trends. Based on the conducted analysis, several approaches are proposed to enhance the effectiveness of inflation regulation, including improvements in fiscal and monetary policy, the development of domestic production, and the strengthening of competitive market conditions. The conclusions obtained may be applied to optimize economic regulation mechanisms and develop strategies aimed at maintaining price stability.
