The Role of AI-Driven Decision Intelligence in Strategic Business Transformation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a major role in making a strategic decision for modern organization. In order to make informed and accurate strategic decision a tool named Decision Intelligence is used which integrates AI, machine learning, data engineering, analytics, and behavioral science. This paper mainly focuses on the role of AI-driven Decision Intelligence in strategic business transformation which helps the business peoples in focusing operational efficiency, cost optimization, forecasting accuracy, customer experience, and competitive positioning. This paper adopts a mixed method approach which consists of survey data from 100 managers in midsized companies in south India, which also contain secondary evidence of company report between 2023-2025. This study shows impact of business after implementing AI on performance indicator. The result shows that there is drastic development in companies performance after implementing AI based DI tools compared to the companies which do not implement AI. This study also shows managerial perceptions towards identifying trust in AI outputs, data quality, and employee readiness as key determinants of successful adoption. The study concludes that implementing AI driven Decision gives a new strategy for manager to take a right decision. The companies which adopt DI report show a significant improvement in the performance like operational efficiency, decision speed, and customer satisfaction. This study shows that DI is not only for technological implementation but also for selecting framework like strategic agility, resilience, and competitive advantage.
