Abstract

This paper focuses on modeling the failure mechanism of composite materials under tensile loading. Due to their heterogeneous structure, composites exhibit complex behavior under non-uniform stress distributions. The study analyzes strain variation and stress concentration using differential equations and mathematical modeling. The results indicate that material properties and layer orientation significantly influence the failure process, while energy-based criteria reveal localized critical zones. The findings provide a theoretical basis for improving the strength and reliability of composite structures. Keywords: failure mechanisms, composite materials, tensile loading, stress, numerical modeling.
