Abstract

Special attention is paid to the low economic losses incurred in the production of products produced on offshore platforms (deep seabeds). This, first of all, requires the optimality of the applied technological scheme. Thus, efforts are made to establish the technological scheme in such a way that the process of production, mining and transportation of hydrocarbon products continues uninterruptedly. One of the factors affecting this process is the presence of low-pressure gas pipelines in the technological system of production, ensuring the continuous operation of these pipelines without technological complications allows the exploitation process to be fully efficient. Low-pressure natural gas is natural gas produced from fields during periods of reduced production and requires additional investment to rebuild the existing field infrastructure. Gas that is not sufficient to supply a low-pressure natural gas compressor station or gas processing plant is defined as associated petroleum gas obtained from the final stages of oil separation and having insufficient low pressure for transportation over long distances: As is known, the collection and processing of low-pressure (0.1 - 0.5 MPa) petroleum gas in offshore oil and gas fields is usually inefficient, which leads to significant losses of petroleum gas. The low pressure of petroleum gas prevents its unhindered transportation to onshore gas treatment facilities and then to consumers. To date, specialists and scientists have developed and applied numerous methods for the collection, purification and transportation of low-pressure gas. However, the effective application of these technologies in deep-water offshore oil fields is an extremely complex and difficult task due to technical and technological reasons. Therefore, research and development work aimed at solving this very urgent problem is required. Keywords: low-pressure gas, separation process, gas transportation, liquid phase displacement, operational efficiency.
