Abstract

The purpose of automated trawling is to make the fishing process more efficient, safe, cost–effective and environmentally sustainable. The research objective is to develop the structure and functionality of a hardware and software complex for controlling and monitoring the trawling process, operating in half-automatic mode. The choice of the element base is justified, functional and structural diagrams are developed, and a predictive mathematical model of the trawl behavior during the trawling process is developed. New methods, hardware and software solutions are proposed that reduce the cost and simplify the creation of a system by using a smartphone, reducing the number and increasing the accuracy of measuring instruments through the use of a mathematical model and a Kalman filter. The areas of application of the research results are outlined: the development and manufacture of a small fishing catamaran FC-2, as well as a prototype of a wireless trawl parameter monitoring system with elements of artificial intelligence "Auto-trawl". The results of the study will be tested on a manufactured small fishing catamaran FC-2 and a manufactured midwater trawl.
