Abstract
The paper proposes a method for synthesizing a group control system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) moving in the "leader-follower" mode and performing flight tasks in automatic mode in difficult navigation and marine hydrometeorological conditions. A leader UAV defined in the group, which, moving offline or under the control of an operator, sets the movement of the entire group. At the same time, the remaining UAV are assigned as followers and move behind the leader in a certain formation, maintaining their preset position relative to the leader. During this movement, it is assumed that information about the current coordinates of the group's UAV is unavailable, and the leader has a UBW (Ultra Bandwidth) radio beacon, with which the UAV-followers can determine the distance to the leader. Also, through the UBW communication channel, the leader can transmit information to the followers about the parameters of his movement, measured by on-board sensors. Sea experiments are planned for the navigation period of 2026.
