Abstract

This report examines proposals for transforming the legal, financial and operational conditions to implement an “Equipment-as-a-Service” (EaaS) model in Russian industry, using the metallurgical sector as an example. It substantiates the importance of shifting from the traditional one-time equipment purchase model to ecosystem partnerships based on long-term, result-oriented service contracts. The relevance of this transition is justified by current sustainability (ESG) challenges and the need for innovative business models to enhance competitiveness.
