Abstract

PDT combined with biliary stent implantation can effectively prolong the overall survival time of patients with extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma without increasing the risk of postoperative complications. Additionally,the administration of PDT via the PTC and ERCP approaches has no significant impact on the therapeutic efficacy and safety.
