Abstract

In patients with ischemic heart failure complicated by multivessel coronary artery disease and diabetes mellitus, revascularization is a protective factor for prognosis. Assessment of hibernating myocardium facilitates risk stratification and guides treatment decision-making in such patients, helping identify high-risk individuals who may benefit from revascularization.
