Commentary on “Ultrasound Evaluation of Left Ventricular Function in Coronary Artery Ectasia: The Added Value of 2D Speckle-Tracking Echocardiography”
Abstract
Evaluation of Left Ventricular Function in Coronary Artery Ectasia: The Added Value of 2D Speckle-Tracking Echocardiography," [1] which was published in your journal, caught my fancy. It is admirable that the authors used cutting-edge echocardiographic techniques to assess left ventricular (LV) mechanics in relation to coronary artery ectasia (CAE).Although the study provides insightful information, I would like to briefly discuss its advantages and draw attention to some restrictions and warnings in order to improve the readers' interpretive framework.
