First record of the attraction of Chalcosiinae (Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae) species to the substances from the series ‘EFETOV-2’ in China
Abstract
The males of two species of the subfamily Chalcosiinae (Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae), viz. Erasmia pulchella Hope, 1841, and Eterusia aedea (Linnaeus, 1763), were attracted by synthetic sex attractant EFETOV-2 (patented name) in China. It is the first record on the sex attractant for the males of Chalcosiinae species.
