Abstract

A confusing fact that Loepa vanschaycki Brechlin, 2012 has been found in Meghalaya State, India, i.e. 2500 km of its type locality [TL: “Malaysia, Pahang State, Cameron Highlands”], is reported. Based on this fact, the assumption that the type locality was erroneously given in the original description of the species is made. The first description of the male of L. vanschaycki as well as redescription of the female are provided.
