PATHOLOGICAL AND ANATOMICAL DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF DISEASES IN GROWING AND FATTENING PIGS
Abstract
Based on our own research and literature, a pathological differential diagnosis of diseases in fattening pigs has been developed. It is based on an organ-specific approach, that is, by comparing pathological changes in organs associated with different diseases. Pathological changes in individual organs are often similar across different diseases, but a combination of pathological changes in all organs is pathognomonic for each disease. The combination of pathological changes in organs, as a manifestation of pathogenesis, is unique to any disease due to the direct dependence of pathogenesis on the characteristics of the infectious agent or other etiological factor.
