Abstract

Abstract We confirm the planetary nature of (1) TOI-5916 b and (2) TOI-6158 b, two giant exoplanets around M-dwarf stars (GEMS), both discovered by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. Both systems were confirmed with ground-based photometry (Red Buttes Observatory and Swope, respectively) and radial velocity data from the Habitable-zone Planet Finder. Their radii are R 1 = 11 . 8 − 0.51 + 0.52 R ⊕ (1.05 ± 0.05 R J ) and R 2 = 10 . 4 − 1.11 + 2.70 R ⊕ ( 0.9 3 − 0.10 + 0.24 R J ), their masses are M 1 = 219 ± 28 M ⊕ ( 0.68 8 − 0.088 + 0.087 M J ) and M 2 = 13 5 − 18 + 19 M ⊕ ( 0.42 5 − 0.058 + 0.060 M J ), and their orbital periods are P 1 = 2.3671234 1 − 0.0000032
