Abstract

Abstract Using JWST NIRCam F444W imaging from the SCUBADive project, we identify five sub-millimeter galaxies that host stellar bars. These include AzTECC91_0 at z = 1.91 ± 0.11, which has the most extended bar known at z > 1 (8.42 ± 0.05 kpc), and AzTECC27_1 at z = 3.45 ± 1.30, one of the highest-redshift unlensed bar candidates.
