Abstract

This project used the Tweet Archiver (Digital Inspiration, 2023) add-on for Google Sheets to capture the data utilized for the study. It polled Twitter for uses of the hashtag #scienceofreading every hour, logging the hits and pulling all the matching tweets into the Google Spreadsheet. The archiver searched Twitter from March 4, 2020 through March 5, 2023. The full database pulled hashtag use 11,498 times over the three-year period of data collection, capturing 19,973 tweets.
