Тhe role of ESG in implementing green business transformation
Abstract
In recent years, the terms “green transition” and transition to a low-carbon economy, along with the introduction of ESG standards in non-financial company reports, have been increasingly entering the European public space. It is evident that the globalized world is gradually recognizing the need to change the current economic model and imple-ment a green economic transformation to limit climate change and preserve non-renew-able resources. Green transformation is necessary not only for environmental protection but also represents a strategic investment in the future of the economy and society as a whole.
