Abstract

The daily newspaper Gil Blas and the associated illustrated weekly are very popular at the end of the XIXth century, thanks to the publication of saucy short stories on the front page. They disseminate images of the Parisian life which are still perennial nowadays in collective memory. Based on researches about the media imagination proposed by Guillaume Pinson, this short paper intends to define a way to elaborate a media story which takes into account collective imagination and memories.
