Global well-posedness for 3D compressible magneto-micropolar fluids without resistivity and spin viscosity in a strip domain
Abstract
This paper concerns the initial-boundary value problem for the three-dimensional compressible magneto-micropolar system without resistivity and spin viscosity in a strip domain. We establish the existence and uniqueness of global strong solutions near a general constant magnetic field with non-zero vertical components, employing a two-tier energy method for the reformulated system in Lagrangian coordinates. Furthermore, we show that the solution converges to the equilibrium state at an algebraic rate as time tends to infinity. A key novelty of our work is that the proof does not require any compatibility conditions on the initial data. Our analysis is also directly applicable to the viscous, non-resistive compressible MHD system, and the results improve upon previous studies on MHD systems (cf. [31,34]) by relaxing the regularity requirements for solutions and removing the compatibility conditions on the initial data.
