A study on existence and multiplicity of nodal solutions of a singularity driven Robin problem in Orlicz spaces
Abstract
In this study, we explore a Robin boundary value problem (BVP) involving the Orlicz $ \psi- $ Laplace operator, incorporating a general nonlinear term coupled with a singular component. First, we employ variational methods in conjunction with an appropriate truncation approach to establish the existence of two solutions of two different signs. We also prove the existence of infinitely many nodal solutions, and all these solutions are found to be $ L^\infty $ bounded. Our analysis is conducted within a broad and abstract framework corresponding to Orlicz–Sobolev function spaces.
