Non-radial blowup criteria for fractional Schrödinger equations with mixed nonlinearities
Abstract
Fractional nonlinear Schrödinger equations (FNLS) have become pivotal mathematical models in nonlinear optics, plasma physics, and quantum mechanics, providing a framework to study wave dynamics in complex environments. This paper investigates the blow-up phenomena for non-radial solutions to the FNLS equations with mixed inhomogeneous nonlinearities in $ \mathbb{R}^{N}(N\geq2) $. By leveraging localized virial identities, Morawetz estimates, and critical exponent analysis, we derive general blow-up criteria for non-radial solutions. Our results cover a wide range of scenarios, including both mass-critical and energy-critical cases, and extend beyond previous studies by addressing the combined effects of inhomogeneous and homogeneous nonlinearities. Notably, we establish conditions under which solutions exhibit finite-time or infinite-time blow-up, even in the absence of radial symmetry. Additionally, we highlight the unique challenges associated with the fractional case, particularly when the nonlinear exponents lie in specific critical regimes.
