Abstract

Summary KOC deployed Ultra Deep Azimuthal Resistivity and Ultra Sonic Imaging tools in a recent Najmah Limestone horizontal well to trial advanced resistivity-based geosteering. This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of these tools for improving geosteering accuracy and fracture characterization during horizontal drilling.
