Therefore, the study focused on verifying the psychometric properties of the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 Brief in its Arabic version. Three samples totaled 1317 students in three Arab countries' universities: Jordan 384 (30.5%), Algeria 499 (35.5%), and Oman 434 (34.5%). There were 951 (72.2%) females and 434 (27.8%) males. Their mean age was 23.6±8.08. In the development process of the scale, Translation, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and test-retest studies were conducted and reported. In reliability analysis, the Cronbach alpha value for subscales was between 0.68-0.81 and between 0.71-0.78 for correlation coefficients in test-retest analysis. The correlation coefficients across the dimensions of the scale were between (0.34-0.62). In addition, in the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), the fit indices of the model tested were found to be appropriate: (χ2/df=2.45, RMSEA = 0.06, GFI = 0.92, CFI = 0.90, TLI = 0.92) with Items loading between 0.48-0.75. The applications result from the obtained validity and reliability analysis findings the Arabic version of the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 Brief is understood to be a valid and reliable scale to diagnose individuals with personality disorders in Arabic‑speaking populations.
