Abstract

With the ubiquity of AI programs now, I want to say that if used ethically and responsibly, it is perfectly acceptable to leverage AI to improve YOUR work. It is not for doing the work for you. The secret to using AI effectively is learning how to ask the right questions. This is called prompt engineering, and how you can train AI to help you. There are some areas where AI may be helpful in the chapter, along with examples of asking the right questions. Part of that ethical and responsible use is the need for disclosure if and when you do use AI, what you used it for, and what the outcomes were. It is also imperative that you closely review your school's policies for AI use and make sure you are operating within the guidelines. You can actually put those guidelines in the AI engine as part of its training. Just some suggestions that you will find in the chapter.
