Integrating Metaverse With Manufacturing

Manufacturing plays very important role in growth of overall economy of nation, and metal casting is one of such manufacturing processes that contributes largely on economy especially in India. These manufacturing enterprises are always in need of skilled manpower or these are in requirement to train their existing manpower for advanced technologies so that performance of these industries can be enhanced. This manpower can be trained in real industrial environment with specific skillsets that can be helpful in various industrial sectors, and Metaverse seems to be one of the solutions.Specific methodology adopted to develop Metaverse for metal casting. Metaverse of metal casting has been developed, and demonstrated for imparting technical skills to young manpower. It was observed that Metaverse can be very effective to impart technical skills required in the domain of metal casting. This implementation has provided great encouragement, and can lead to development of Metaverse for other manufacturing processes to serve overall requirement of skilled manpower in the domain.
