Abstract

This chapter examines how human-centric innovation can be a part of solving the ethical, emotional, and social dilemma of digital change. Based on the human-cantered design, self-determination theory, and service-dominant logic, it discusses how empathy, the concept of psychological safety, and co-creation can be implemented as part of innovation approaches to allow employee engagement and consumer trust. The research employs a qualitative method approach to interviewing and analyzing documents in the form of semi-structured interviews, and determining the major practices that can align the technology with human values. The results suggest the importance of the responsible use of emerging technologies, inclusive leadership, and ethical frameworks in long-term resilience in organizations. The outcome of the study is that humanistic innovation is not discretionary but a requirement in digitally embraced, sustainable, and socially accountable change.
