Abstract

Wind energy is a natural source of energy which is renewable in nature and eco-friendly in nature if used properly. However, in the recent centuries, humans used non-renewable energies for their development and support urbanization, which was a harmful decision in the long run. In the recent decade, efforts on using wind energy have been put to slowly and steadily replace the non-renewable energy up to certain extent in order to save environment from further harm. In this chapter, a number of major Wind Farm Projects will be discussed and challenges or problems faced in their construction. Then, gaps in the current research in regard to wind farm projects are will also be covered in the chapter. Additionally, data from numerous sources will be collected to perform graphical analyses to find out the benefits of constructing Wind Farm projects and how it will be helpful in India's development in the future.
