Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping education systems worldwide and placing schools at a critical crossroads. While AI offers opportunities to support learning and decision-making, it also raises concerns related to bias, equity, ethics, and pedagogical integrity. This chapter examines AI's impact across three dimensions: operational, strategic, and pedagogical. Operationally, it explores how AI can support personalized learning, reduce administrative demands, and assist teachers, while addressing risks such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and unequal access. Strategically, it considers AI governance in schools, including data-informed leadership and resource allocation, alongside ethical and regulatory gaps. Pedagogically, it focuses on inclusive learning, examining AI's role in differentiation, accessibility, and linguistic diversity, while safeguarding fairness, human interaction, and educational values. The chapter concludes by arguing that meaningful AI integration requires governance frameworks grounded in inclusion, transparency, and ethical accountability.
