Abstract

This chapter explores the interplay between belonging, social interactions, and collaborative learning within culturally diverse student populations. Queer international students experience these processes in uniquely layered ways influenced by campus climate, cultural norms, safety concerns, and institutional support. It expands the repository of best practices by offering strategies that promote inclusive classroom participation and intercultural collaboration. Ultimately, the chapter ensures the book's portrayal of engagement is representative, intersectional, and reflective of the complexities of diverse student identity.
