Abstract

The present study investigates the impact of government subsidies on green fintech innovation in the telecom and banking sectors of Pakistan. It utilizes data on the number of patents filed by these industries related to green fintech innovation, along with records of direct government subsidies and tax incentives aimed at promoting such innovation. The study covers the period from 2018 to 2024. The findings indicate that government subsidies have a significant impact on green fintech innovation.
