The Supply Chain Risk Analysis Using the House of Risk (HOR) Method
Abstract
The object study is a sugar factory. During the milling period, several obstacles occur, such as delays in raw materials and machine damage. This can be anticipated with mitigation actions, which are the main output of the House of Risk (HOR) and are mapped based on the Supply-Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. However, the HOR method has an extensive range in its assessment, so it needs to be integrated with fuzzy logic to provide firm values. This research aims to analyze what risks arise, the risk agents, priority risk agents, and the steps to handle them in sugar production. This research uses the SCOR model and the Fuzzy House of Risk method. The research instruments include interviews, closed questionnaires, and brainstorming with the experts. Based on the interview results, 17 risk events and 19 risk agents were obtained. Based on the nine priority risk agents, several mitigation actions were formulated, such as mentoring sugar cane care for partner farmers, improving farming business management, weather prediction, and analysis of transport routes.
